|
Swiffer is one of Procter & Gamble's most successful franchises, part of their $9 billion household care portfolio. The Swiffer Duster redesign combined a cost savings with a redesign of the handle, netting out in a product that uses superior styling to push back against knock-offs while reducing unit cost.
The key to the success of the Swiffer Duster redesign was our collaborative process. Instead of waiting until the design was finalized, then handing it off and hoping for the best, we involved the Swiffer manufacturing engineers in the conceptual phase. With their help, we unlocked the full potential of the manufacturing facilities while keeping costs as low as possible and bringing the brand's design language to life.
